I want to celebrate the freedom of thought, dissolve the boundaries of space and time and create awareness of the big picture to represent beauty, kindness and transience of our universe. I invite you to a journey full of lightheartedness and harmony, to create space for dreaming again and to show that everyone is the architect of his own happiness. A happiness that is based on knowing his place in the universe, so that one learns again to love and appreciate himself and his environment.I like to play with colors and shapes, abstract familiar and prefer to put contradictory things or beings in contrast, to break down mental boundaries and to animate the viewer to bring his imagination in the picture with into the picture.

 

 

BIO

Colt was born at the end of February 1976 in Plauen, Vogtland, the son of a working-class family. Already since his earliest childhood he had discovered the passion for painting. In his school notebooks there was hardly a page without a "doodle", as the teachers said. Unfortunately, there was no ambition to promote art in the GDR. After the reunification there were new possibilities. By painting walls in various techno clubs, he was able to combine his passion for painting and his love for electronic music. Since this time, he is also as a techno live act in the clubs on the road. From 2010 he devoted himself more to electronic music. Since 2019, then there was a huge development in opening up a new medium, painting. Since that time he paints almost daily and works constantly to refine his technique.
